Combat sports has its niches like every other aspect of culture. On one side there is the beautiful technicality that forms a masterpiece that fans are in awe by. On the other hand, there are moments when celebrities decide they want to test themselves in the ring to draw a crowd and split the profits. Dana White said that he would never allow such amateurs to compete in the UFC. However, Youtube stars KSI and Logan Paul know exactly how to engage a crowd and this time when they have face-off, it’ll be with professional rules.

The second rendition of this ‘heated saga’ will take place on DAZN. The same streaming platform that showcases talent in promotions such as Bellator, Combate Americas, and Golden Boy Promotions. The platform is also the exclusive home to boxing legends Canelo Alvarez, Daniel Jacobs, and Gennady Golovkin.
Now the digital service provider will add a one-off bout to their resume featuring Youtube megastars KSI and Logan Paul. According to TMZ and DAZN, the fight will count as a professional bout and will be promoted by boxing’s own Eddie Hern.

DAZN KNOWS HOW TO MAKE MONEY
Causing controversy by attaching themselves to KSI and Logan Paul isn’t necessarily a bad thing.
In the first fight streamed on Youtube, both men fought to a controversial draw. While many hardcore fight fans viewed the spectacle as a smudge on the sport that they wanted nothing to do with, a reported 61 million worldwide viewers thought otherwise. The fight also sold out the Manchester Arena with over 21,000 ticket sales.
Regardless of the level of the two competitors, they obviously know how to draw attendance and money. Two things that promoters love.
BOUT DETAILS
The card will be featured on live on DAZN at the Staples Center in LA.
The card is set to take place on November 9th with pre-sale tickets to be available for purchase on September 9th. General sales for the card will open on September 14th with more details later to follow. While the entire card is yet to be determined, those details will also be revealed later in the upcoming weeks.
