Dillon Danis has a history with Logan Paul.
Danis and Paul are set to box on the Misfits boxing card on Oct. 14 in Manchester, England in a highly-anticipated match. Although the fight is still two weeks away, the two have taken shots at one another on social media, which Danis is surprised by as he claims he saved Paul’s life.
“He didn’t check in and he was with Alex Cooper at a party. I come in with crutches, I have a video, so people think I’m bullshitting. I was on one side of the table and he was on the other side, and he was like all freaked out, shitting his pants,” Danis said on the Full Send Podcast. “He came over to the table and he was like, ‘Can you pinky promise me, you aren’t going to do anything? I pinky promised and I’m on crutches. That whole sh*t happened. He didn’t realize who I am in New York or the connections I have. I stopped him from getting murdered that night, cause they were gonna shoot him in the back of the head. I was like I don’t want him to die, after that he has not come back to New York.”
Whether or not that story is actually true or not is uncertain. But, it is clear Dillon Danis and Logan Paul do not like one another.
Danis reveals he’s making more than Volkanovski for boxing match
However, they will get to settle their differences on Oct. 14 when they box and Danis claims he is making more than any UFC fighter for his match against Logan Paul.
“I’m an MMA fighter. This boxing thing is just for the money and the Logan one was enticing because of the history… I’m making more than anyone in the UFC besides Izzy [Israel Adesanya], Conor [McGregor] and maybe Islam [Makhachev]. But, I’m definitely making more than Volk (Volkanovaki), I’m definitely making more than all those other guys and I haven’t fought in four years and it’s for an easy fight. Against a WWE f*****g bumblebee-looking thing,” Danis said.

As Danis says, the payday is what enticed him to take this match against Paul even though it is in boxing. He also has full confidence he will be able to beat Paul with ease and show how good of a fighter he is.
