Cydney Gillon has won the Women’s Figure Olympia title at the 2022 Mr. Olympia, which took place Dec. 15-17 at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. She turned in an impressive performance and got past Jessica Reyes Padilla, who placed runner-up ahead of Lola Montez coming in third place.

The spotlight was on the reigning five-time Figure Olympia champion Cydney Gillon going into the contest. After winning her first Sandow trophy in 2017, Gillon proved to be a dominant victor who held on to the title each year. She was looking to extend her lead as the winningest athlete in the division and looked set to add the sixth win under her belt. She also had momentum on her side after winning the 2022 Arnold Sports Festival in March earlier this year.

Proven talent Natalia Soltero was aiming for her first Olympia win after falling short of Gillon with runner-up finishes in the last two editions. Meanwhile, surging prospect Lola Montez found herself in another exciting battle with Jessica Reyes Padilla that added even more excitement to the show.

Gillon impressed the judges with her signature conditioning and made it to the final callout alongside Padilla, Montez, and Jossie Nathali Alarcon Becerra.

Cydney Gillon managed to defend her title successfully and earned her sixth trophy by becoming the champion of the Figure Olympia. She blew her competition out of the water and stood out as the clear winner on stage.
