- BKFC CEO David Feldman talked about Conor McGregor becoming a part owner of the company
- Feldman thinks UFC president Dana White didn’t like what just happened
BKFC president David Feldman reflected on how Conor McGregor came in to become a part owner of the company and talked about how it possibly didn’t sit well with UFC president Dana White.
BKFC is excited for Conor
Speaking to the media in his post-BKFC KnuckleMania IV press conference, Feldman looked back at how wonderful things panned out from the day “Notorious” arrived as a guest to becoming a part owner.
“He’s now an owner of BKFC with us and we’re going to take this motherf**king thing all the way to the top now… He came to our event… He jumped in the ring, he called out Mike Perry in fun, and one thing led to another. We partnered with his beer, for his Irish stout, and they became a sponsor of us. He fell in love with this,” Feldman said.
“We had some unbelievable conversations, some great ideas already exchanging. It was funny, I was telling my wife, ‘I was dying for Conor McGregor to call me and now the guy won’t stop calling me.’ It’s unbelievable. But he is so excited about this thing. I really think it takes it to the next level,” he raved.

Feldman thinks Dana is not happy
McGregor still has a contract with the UFC but Feldman is certain there wouldn’t be any conflict about it. However, Feldman said that there’s a great chance White is not pleased with “Notorious” promoting another company.
“Listen, Dana White has a juggernaut with the UFC,” Feldman explained. “Conor McGregor certainly moves the needle for them, but [White]’s very successful without [McGregor] — not that he’s fighting for us. I’m just saying, but as him promoting our product for us? Who knows? You’re probably a little mad, your No. 1 star is going to talk about a different company, so you’re probably not very happy about it. But he’s not worried about us. Not yet.”
McGregor and BKFC’s huge announcement happened in the middle of BKFC’s KnuckleMania IV event. So far, everybody in BKFC is happy about it, including the company’s biggest draw Mike Perry, who even congratulated McGregor following his KO win over Thiago Alves.
