Mike Perry heaped praise on Conor McGregor following the UFC superstar’s BKFC ownership announcement.

Mike salutes Conor

Fresh off his 1st-round KO win over Thiago Alves at BKFC KnuckleMania IV, “Platinum” congratulated and welcomed McGregor to the organization. Perry was asked to comment on the recent announcement about McGregor becoming a part owner of BKFC. Unsurprisingly, “Platinum” was thrilled to have the biggest name in combat sports as their boss.

“Sh*t, thank you man,” Perry said of McGregor. “I know you see it. We all love Conor McGregor’s fights, we all love, I mean he’s the biggest combat sports star in history probably besides, I mean, we all still love Mike Tyson. He’s still about to do something big on this Netflix thing but Conor McGregor, nobody moved that needle like him and the Irish fans like the Irish fan base is like the number one combat sports fan base because they travel across the world to come and see Conor McGregor all the time. So you know he’s just done remarkable things.”

“Conor’s always got heart even when we’ve seen him down, he’s still to be heard and you know they took him out on a stretcher and he was still telling people how he felt about sh*t,” he added.

Conor hints at big things

In his big announcement, “Notorious” already hinted at big things that could take place at BKFC now that he has become part owner.

“The Notorious’ Conor McGregor here,” McGregor said in a video that aired during BKFC. “Ladies and gentlemen, the huge announcement that I have for you today, Conor McGregor myself and McGregor Sports and Entertainment is now an owner of Bare Knuckle Fighting Championships.”

“Welcome to the big leagues. David Feldman, baby, we did it,” he concluded.

Indeed, it is another massive milestone for McGregor. However, that doesn’t change the fact that he is still under the UFC and is set to face Michael Chandler at UFC 303.

On the other hand, Perry saw his unbeaten BKFC record improving to 5-0 following his KO win over Alves.
