The trash talk between Mike Perry and Julian Lane has hit an all-time high.
Perry vs. Lane
The two have been going at each other for months on end. Lane would even get into a brawl with the UFC veteran ringside last December. The time for talk is nearing its end as both BKFC fighters will ‘toe the line’ at KnuckleMania 2 this weekend.
Until then, the war of words would continue when they crossed paths at the pre-fight press conference on Thursday. Perry and Lane engaged in a hilarious exchange of trash talk.
The Exchange
“This type of business is very personal,” Perry said. “We’re gonna get in there, get close, get personal. We’re going to try to kill each other.”
“It ain’t what we’re going to do,” Lane responded. “I’m going to knock him the f*ck out… first minute, first round. Mike Perry is going down.”
“Okay, you’re making up dreams,” Perry said. “You got big ideas over there. We’re going to see when we toe that line.”
“I got dreams that come to life, baby.” Lane replied. “I’m after that bag, you can’t get it.”
“I’m getting the bag regardless, you ain’t gonna do nothing I’ve never seen before… I got some homies that have finished you.”
“I’ve been around the game a long time, you ain’t never met anyone like me.”
“Nah, you’ve done good,” Perry said. “You got knocked out a couple of times and you came back and you did better. But, you still losing these fights.”
“You know why?” Lane said. “I don’t pave my record, I fight who they pay me to fight.”
“Come on man.” Perry replied. “I fought 15 people in 5 years in the UFC and they [were] all in the top 15. I gave it my all.”
“I fight who they tell me to fight,” Lane said. “You got a manager, I never had a manager. I’m self-made…”
“Cause you dumb!” Perry fired back at Lane. “That’s why your hair [is] receding, your brain is toxic.”
The BKFC livestream would cut out a bit after this exchange. 30 minutes passed by without too much conflict between Perry and Lane.
Batter Up!
But things would get interesting once more after that. The two brawlers would ignite another verbal fire, but it’d be taken up a notch after Perry said: ‘What’s up b*tch?’
They’d stand up trying to go at each other. Out of nowhere, Mike Perry pulls up a bat on Julian Lane. Perry would attempt to hit Lane with the small bat but the two would be separated immediately.
Talk about an altercation… The two will settle their differences in the BKFC ring on Feb. 19. And no, bats won’t be allowed as this is not a baseball game. This is bare knuckle boxing.
