This past weekend, Diaz was in attendance to support his teammate Chris Avila at the DAZN Misfits 006 boxing event. Diaz made headlines after a video showing him firing a water bottle at reality TV star Chase DeMoor ringside circulated online. The Stockton native got involved in another physical altercation with Rodney Peterson, a Logan Paul lookalike, on the streets in New Orleans. Diaz was caught on camera putting Peterson to sleep with a choke and landing a knee strike to the body.

In a recent YouTube video, Sean O’Malley shared his reaction to Diaz choking out Peterson on the street. O’Malley questioned Peterson’s motives while criticizing his behavior in approaching Diaz.

“What’s the point of rolling up to him in the first place with your hands up? Why not just not roll up to him. What’s the point of that? Just don’t walk towards him. It’s loud, it’s crazy. If you really want to have a conversation with him, I don’t know if that’s the best way.

“That dude was tall big. How did Nate reach around his neck? Had him in a headlock, slept him, and the knee in the gut.”

‘Suga’ Sean weighed in on Diaz’s scuffle with Chase DeMoor, praising the power and precision of the grappling aficionado in throwing the water bottle.

“What about the water bottles? That was a f**king piston right in the forehead. It bounced off his head.”

O’Malley predicts Aljamain Sterling vs Henry Cejudo

O’Malley gave his take on the upcoming title fight between champ Aljamain Sterling and former two-division titleholder Henry Cejudo.

“I think Aljo could catch him. He can take his back and choke him but if he doesn’t, I think Henry might outwork him.”

Sean O’Malley is currently not booked for his next outing, As for Nate Diaz, he will take on social media sensation turned boxer Jake Paul in a boxing match on Aug. 5. He got called out by Peterson and also faces accusations of second-degree battery for the incident.
