Nate Diaz has been challenged to a fight by reality TV star Chase DeMoor after the two men scrapped both inside and outside of the XULA Convocation Center in New Orleans.
Attending the DAZN Misfits 006 boxing event in support of teammate Chris Avila who was competing on the card, Diaz kicked off his night of chaos by chucking a water bottle at DeMoor who was sitting behind him. A brief scuffle broke out in the building but quickly dissipated before spilling out into the streets. Video footage of the Too Hot To Handle star fighting off multiple members of Diaz’s entourage began making the rounds, including a clip of the Stockton Samurai choking out a Logan Paul look-a-like.
Taking to Twitter, Chase DeMoor shared his side of the story in a minute-long rant. “Just a message to the new Charmin mascots, @NateDiaz209 can’t wait to watch you get retired,” DeMoor said in the video caption. “As for your goons. Bunch of wipes.”
“This message is for Nate Diaz and all his boys. As you can see, you guys finally put some damage on me,” DeMoor said. “I didn’t take any damage in any of my boxing matches and you guys had to jump me in New Orleans. All of you guys are in the UFC and are MMA fighters and I had to fight your whole team off.
“You and your crew are the softest boys,” DeMoor continued. “All those kids on your team, I don’t know how they are in the UFC or have any sort of winning record. You guys have pillows for hands, soft toilet paper for hands. You guys are a bunch of wipes, bro, and I can’t wait to watch Jake Paul destroy you whenever you guys are fighting because I’ll be there.
“I’ll be there to handle all your goons too just in case they get out of line. Nate, if you’re watching this, get yourself locked in a cage with me for five minutes. I promise you, I’m going to show you what that 40lb weight difference feels like. You’re soft. Jake, handle my light work” (h/t Mirror).
Chase DeMoor was Disqualified at DAZN Boxing Event Before His Confrontation with Nate Diaz
Prior to his altercation with Nate Diaz at the DAZN event, Chase DeMoor was competing inside the ring against Stevie Knight. DeMoor suffered his second-straight defeat after being disqualified for continuing to punch his already-downed opponent.
As for Nate Diaz, the lightweight fan-favorite is slated to make his professional boxing debut, but it definitely won’t be against DeMoor. The former UFC star will strap on the 10-ounce gloves for a clash with social media sensation Jake Paul. The two men will meet on August 5 at the American Airlines Arena in Dallas.
