If there ever was one word that gained traction in the land of MMA journalism that I wish hadn’t it would have to be the word “scrum.” Kind of like a lot of people hate the word “moist” because it sounds disgusting, the word scrum is just flat-out disgusting sounding. Whenever I hear people talk about “Dana’s scrum” for a brief second I wonder if they are talking about his ball sack. It’s just a terrible word that has picked up traction and won’t seem to go away.
So here is the latest scrum from the UFC, this is from our buds at Whoa TV and it’s not Dana White this time. Oh no, it’s Ronda Rousey instead, talking about who she wants to fight next and how Women’s MMA has come along in the UFC. If I’m entirely honest with myself here I know that you aren’t reading this. Why? Because football is on and it’s a Sunday. That is just my cross to bear, isn’t it? The futility of putting up scrums on a Sunday.
