Kayla Harrison fired back at Julianna Pena’s use of PEDs accusations on her.
Julianna is just hating
Speaking to The MMA Hour, Harrison took the opportunity to lashed out at “The Venezuelan Vixen” for blatantly claiming that she had used PEDs in the past. For Kayla, Pena is just hating and if anything, trying to make an excuse to avoid facing her.
“Haters gonna hate. It pisses me off. Number one, it pisses me off because never once have I tested positive for anything, ever, in the history of my very long drug-testing career. And number two, don’t f**king say things like that if you don’t have hard evidence. That’s a serious thing to talk about, to me. I take cheating very seriously,” Harrison exclaimed.
“I have always competed clean, I carry myself to a high standard, and I know that I haven’t always competed against people who were clean, but I’m not going to throw accusations out just because I feel like I think they’re not clean. That’s bullsh*t. And I think it’s bullsh*t because she’s just building in an excuse for when I whoop her a**,” she continued.
“So I’m annoyed by it, and at the same time, what a compliment. I’m 100% natty and you all think I’m on steroids. Because God forbid anyone ever work hard and be disciplined and have a great team around them and have results from that. God forbid anyone train from the time they were six years until until the time they’re 34 years old and develop a physique that was built to beat the shit out of people. God forbid someone believe in themselves and work hard and succeed. It’s f**ked up. She’s got to be cheating!,” she added. “I just don’t care anymore. I know the truth and I’m happy with everything I’ve accomplished and I’m going to accomplish. And I’ll never fail a drug test. You know why? Because I don’t f**king cheat.”

Harrison also lifted the lid on Pena’s story about her intentionally missing a seminar about PEDs. As per the two-time Olympic gold medalist, she had to attend to something the UFC had asked her to at the time.
“That’s also why I didn’t stay for the stupid info commercial for drug testing. Unlike her, I actually have fans so I had something I had to go to that the UFC had asked me to do. It’s hard to be the IT girl and the new face of the weight class. So, I didn’t have to stay for that,” Harrison revealed.
Pena has been taking swipe at Harrison even before she made her UFC debut. It is yet to be known if the pair will eventually meet inside the Octagon but they are both among the best fighters in the women’s bantamweight division.
