Well, this is definitely one way to get yourself on the radar.
Apparently, “Spitfire” Emily Whitmire doesn’t take any kind of shit lying down. And she’s taken particular issue with training partner Vinny Magalhaes, who cornered against her in a matchup with Jamie Moyle. With Whitmire having trained with Magalhaes at Xtreme Couture, and having told her all week that he wouldn’t corner against her, Whitmire was really fucking pissed to see him standing behind her opponent.
And after she took a decisive victory, she was not scared to let Vinny and everyone in the arena know it. God bless her heart.
Yeah, I’m fully on Team Spitfire on this beef. Sounds like Vinny Magalhaes isn’t one for loyalty. Bad look man.
Check out Whitmire after the fight, explaining just what the situation was and why she felt justified calling Vinny “a piece of shit”. Granted it’s her version of the story, but it seems like she’s totally vindicated in the eyes of public perception. And it’s just awesome that she hopped on the mic and told everyone in an arena that Vinny Magalhaes can “go fuck himself”. Perfectly MMA.
