I woke up today and quietly told myself ‘There’s no way I can live another day without seeing two guys in Russia play chess and then box simultaneously’. I just couldn’t do it. As I laid in bed with half my leg hanging on the floor because I sleep on a twin-sized futon, I checked my phone only to discover that the 2013 Chessboxing World Championships went down a few days ago in Russia, and RT covered the entire event. It was as if God slapped me in the face with a coincidence stick. Everything I asked for was there in the form of well composed YouTube video. I can finally live life today, thanks to a sport called chess boxing, Wu-Tang Clan would be proud. Check it out.
