UFC 200 fight week is here. Beyond the not one but three epic title fights on the docket, it still feels somewhat surreal that the one and only Brock Lesnar will be fighting in a cage on Saturday night. When MMA fans last saw Lesnar it was UFC 141 in December 2011 and the former UFC heavyweight champion’s health had deteriorated to the point of retirement.
Cue up a five-year break from MMA, a recharged bill of health, another successful WWE run under his belt and Lesnar’s return to the UFC is the most anticipated comeback in the sport’s history. When Lesnar steps in the cage versus Mark Hunt, the MMA world has no idea which incarnation of The Beast Incarnate they will be getting.
At his peak, Lesnar was an all-time great MMA heavyweight and often times looked like a man among boys. With Lesnar’s return less than four days away, let’s check in with his WWE advocate and promo Maestro Mr. Paul Heyman. Watch as Lesnar and Heyman sit down for Brock’s first exclusive interview before his UFC 200 comeback bout.
