The UFC welterweight champion responded to Conor McGregor’s title shot demands, along with Khamzat Chimaev.

It is always a crazy day when ‘Notorious’ is in the headlines. On Friday, McGregor said that he will waltz back into a title shot, and he wants it to be the welterweight title. As you might expect, this draw a lot of attention. Even some from the welterweight kingpin himself.

‘Murder Scene’

It did not take Kamaru Usman long to respond on social media.

“You guys want a murder scene in the octagon #p4p,” Usman wrote.

At first, it sounded like Sean Strickland because of the murder talk, but it was actually Usman.

He tweeted out one more reaction meme, saying, “He said he’s gonna do what????

Before any of this McGregor vs. Usman talk starts, the ‘Nigeran Nightmare’ is scheduled to defend his welterweight championship for the sixth time against Leon Edwards in July, most likely for International Fight Week.

Usman has been trying to get a fight with Canelo Alvarez, most likely for a big payday. If that is the case, a red panty night could be coming his way with McGregor.

Coach Chimaev?

Usman wasn’t the only welterweight to respond. The phenom known as Khamzat Chimaev piped in on Twitter as well, saying he’s willing to help train the Irish superstar.

If you want to come back we will help you, we are waiting for you in our camp @TheNotoriousMMA,” Chimaev wrote.

Chimaev has garnered a lot of eyes recently, as he has been training with Darren Till. The two are inseparable now, with both men pushing each other harder in the gym. Perhaps a change of scenery and training partners could benefit ‘The Notorious’ as well, since he wants to move up to 170.

The wrestling of Chimaev and the striking of Till could help him prepare effectively for the well-rounded Kamaru Usman. We’ll see if Conor McGregor accepts his offer.
