- The UFC has postponed the Conor McGregor vs. Michael Chandler press conference in Dublin, Ireland
- A report says “Notorious” has cancelled his media obligations with the company
The UFC 303 press conference set to take place on Monday (June 3), at 12 p.m. ET, at 3Arena in Dublin, Ireland has been postponed and reports are linking it to Conor McGregor.
A big and bad news
UFC president Dana White is expecting to have a spectacular presser in Dublin for the McGregor vs. Chandler fight right after wrapping up UFC 302. However, that is not happening now as the promotion announced that the press conference has been postponed “until further notice.”
“Dear UFC Fans —
The UFC 303 press conference scheduled for Monday June 3rd in Dublin, Ireland at 3Arena has been postponed until further notice. We sincerely apologize to all the fans who were planning to attend. When we have further information on a new date and time, we will share it immediately. – Thank you,” the statement on Instagram read.
Something’s going on with Conor
While nothing is concrete yet as to why the presser was halted, MMA and boxing journalist Chisanga Malata reported that it has something to do with McGregor. The report stated that “Notorious” has “cancelled” the media obligations he had with UFC broadcast partners.
“Heard from multiple sources that Conor McGregor cancelled media obligations he had with UFC broadcast partners yesterday.
Take from that what you will.
Still too early to speculate, so I won’t. But the short-notice cancelling of a press conference is a big deal,” Malata wrote.

UFC 303 is scheduled on June 29th at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. The event will mark McGregor’s long-awaited UFC return and White has confirmed that it already set a new record in gate sales.
From the look of it, something must have been going on behind the scenes. As it stands, the UFC has yet to announce any changes about the McGregor vs. Chandler bout.
