Ian Garry will take on Michael “Venom” Page at the highly-anticipated UFC 303 on June 29.
An exciting match has been added to UFC 303
MMA fans couldn’t wait for Conor McGregor’s return against Michael Chandler at UFC 303. However, UFC president Dana White gave them more reason to be excited as Garry vs. Page has now been added to the massive UFC event.
Prior to the addition of Garry vs. Page, the UFC announced Jamahal Hill vs. Carlos Ulberg as the co-main event. The news came shortly after Hill’s original opponent, Khalil Rountree tested positive for banned substance.

As confirmed by White, UFC 303 has already set a new record in gate sales. The UFC boss said he’ll fly straight to Ireland for the UFC 303 press conference and he expects nothing short of “incredible” experience.
“Next week, is UFC 302 in Newark. When that fight is over I’m jumping on a plane, and I’m flying straight to Dublin, Ireland. We’re holdin Conor McGregor vs. Michael Chandler press conference live and free on June 3rd at The 3 Arena, I haven’t been to Ireland in a while, the last time I was there was for McGregor-Mayweather presser and it was incredible and I expect this to be the same,” White raved.
An important fight for both Garry and Page
Garry and Page are two of the UFC’s most promising stars. However, apart from being fan-favorites, “The Future” and MVP are also hoping to compete for the welterweight title soon. Initially, Garry had no interest in facing the former Bellator star but apparently, that isn’t the case now.
Page had a successful UFC debut at UFC 299 where he beat Kevin Holland via unanimous decision. The win saw MVP landing at No. 13 on the official welterweight rankings.
On the other hand, Garry has been enjoying his unbeaten run, having won all of his 14 fights as a pro. He is coming off a split decision win over Geoff Neal at UFC 298.
UFC 303 will take place on June 29 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
