The UFC president is thinking about putting the ‘Baddest Motherf*cker’ belt on the line at UFC 272.

It has been 26 months since Jorge Masvidal won the BMF belt at UFC 244 when he defeated Nate Diaz via doctor stoppage. While “Gamebred” should have maybe defended the belt against Kamaru Usman, he didn’t, and he still holds the belt. Since the inception of the belt, UFC president Dana White has said it was a one-time thing.

Well, he might have changed his mind.

On Tuesday, White spoke with Pat Mcafee about possibly putting the belt on the line at UFC 272.

“Yeah, you know, we did the BMF title as a one-time thing,” Dana White said. “It was fun when we did it. But, yeah, you’re probably right. I probably should make that belt on the line when there isn’t a world title fight on the line. Because Masvidal has it.”

When asked if he’s going to do it, White responded:

“Where’s my crew? I don’t know; I don’t know – maybe we do. Maybe!”

The best we got was a maybe, but…. he’s telling us there is a chance?

This Saturday, the former teammates and roommates throwdown at UFC 272 in Las Vegas. With or without the BMF belt.
