Tyson Fury Announces Intent To Make MMA Debut
Tyson Fury has quickly reestablished himself as one of the toughest heavyweight boxers in the world. Now he says he is looking to make a turn to MMA, with the help of Conor McGregor.
Fury is the WBO Heavyweight champ, and took Deontay Wilder to a draw. In the latter fight, he overcame a massive knockdown, in order to finish the fight. It was truly one of the greatest displays of heart ever seen.
Most recently, Tyson Fury has decided to try his hand at pro wrestling. He will be making his WWE debut, on the same card as former UFC champ Cain Velasquez. Additionally, as he told Sky News, this is not the only new endeavor he is looking to try.

“I’ve got something big coming up after this, even bigger than [the wwe]. We might see Tyson Fury have his MMA debut this year too. It’s different, but like I say, Tyson Fury taking over.”
Furthermore, Fury explains that he has even reached out to Conor McGregor for help, making his MMA debut.
“Yeah, I’ve been speaking to Conor about it, and he’s willing to train me. And it’s gonna be good. I come from a long line of bare knuckle boxing champions. Getting hurt, getting bloody. You saw my last fight, blood everywhere! Nothing new to me. All a part of my heritage and upbringing. So, I’d love to get in there and smash someone up.
He concluded, explaining the conversation he had with McGregor.
He just said, ‘any time you’re ready, when you get the time, let’s go. Come over to Dublin, and we’ll start training.’ So, can’t wait! Gonna take him up on the offer. Who knows, who knows? We might be on a double header. The Gypsy King and Conor McGregor. It even rhymes, doesn’t it? Double header, Gypsy King and Conor McGregor!”
Tyson Fury currently is expected to rematch Deontay Wilder soon. However, if he makes a MMA debut in between that, and his run in the WWE, that would be something fun to see.
