So what do we call 20-year-old brother of Anthony Pettis — mini-showtime? Showtime Extreme?
According to Brazil’s Combate, Sergio Pettis has signed with the UFC and will make his debut at UFC 167 against a fighter that will either be a bantamweight or a flyweight. The truth is Sergio has fought in both weight classes, and with a 9-0 record one could easily assume that he’s damn good at it. Out of his nine fights he’s only gone to the scorecards three times, and more than half of his fights have ended in the first round. Sergio Pettis’ nickname is The Waterboy, which I’m sure he’s endured hefty legal problems from Adam Sandler.
Congrats to Sergio and the entire Pettis family on the inevitable UFC signing. Now, I’m setting the over/under on Sergio Pettis winning a title at 2.5 years from his signing date — you guys going with the under on this?
