I’ll often travel a long way for a good cosmopolitan, even if that means burrowing through the less-than-masculine areas of the West Village in NYC. I’m not sure where “Queer Street” is located on a map, but wherever it is, I’ll bet all the bars on that street serve up the most righteous Cosmopolitans in the galaxy. Yes, the recipe looks as simple as landing a straight right on Kenji Oishi, but it takes countless nights of amateur bartending at college sorority parties to get it right, and by then, you’ll probably end up questioning your sexual orientation like James Thompson or Filthy Tom Lawlor & Kimboslayer. While Rampage and Rashad are a far cry from the gals of ‘Sex in the City’, their palettes are justifiably discerning and they know when they’ve gotten a taste of “Queer Street”.
