Pearl Gonzalez showed up to the Gamebred Boxing 4 press conference wearing a custom Fruit Roll-Up outfit.

Jorge Masvidal’s boxing promotion has put together an intriguing fight card for April 1. In the main event, boxing legend Roy Jones Jr takes out former UFC champion Anthony Pettis. The undercard features a variety of MMA fighters and boxers, including Pearl Gonzalez taking on Gina Mazany.

The press conference went down on Thursday, and Gonzalez caught the viewer’s attention by wearing an outfit made of Fruit Roll-Ups. She posed for some photos on her Twitter account with the caption saying:

“I can’t the eat the @fruitrollups but you can!! Press conference outfit for @Gamebredboxing today!! My Auntie’s made my outfit, how did they do?? #gamebred #boxing #April #fightweek”

Gonzalez is a true martial artist who has competed in MMA, boxing, bare-knuckled boxing, and submission grappling. ‘The Chi-town Princess’ competed in boxing for her last two fights, both with Gamebred Boxing. The 36-year-old defeated Danielle Wynn by unanimous decision in August 2022 and took out Ivana Coleman with a first-round knockout three months later.

Gonzalez looks to keep building momentum with a win against Mazany. ‘Danger’ last fought in December 2022, winning her first MMA fight since parting ways with the UFC. She now hopes to make a statement in her professional boxing debut by pulling off an upset against ‘The Chi-town Princess.’

Who else is fighting at Gamebred Boxing 4 besides Pearl Gonzalez?

Besides Roy Jones Jr. vs. Anthony Pettis and Pearl Gonzalez vs. Gina Mazany, there are ten other bouts on the Gamebred Boxing 4 fight card. In the co-main event, Jose Aldo takes on Jeremy Stephens in an action-packed matchup

Another fight to watch is Vitor Belfort vs. Jacare Souza. Belfort is coming off a win against 60-year-old Evander Holyfield in September 2021. Souza last fought under the UFC banner in May 2021 before parting ways with the promotion. He now hopes to succeed in the next chapter of his fighting career.

The last matchup featuring former UFC fighter is Joe Riggs vs. Markus Perez, which was added on short notice. Gamebred Boxing 4 also has several experienced professional boxers, including Devin Cushing and Luis Feliciano. The event can be seen on UFC Fight Pass as a $50 pay-per-view, starting at 7 p.m. ET on Saturday.
