'The Problem Child' thinks Diaz will be a problem for Chimaev.

Jake Paul is betting on big underdog Nate Diaz to upset Khamzat Chimaev at UFC 279.

This may come as a surprise given Paul’s beef with Diaz, but given the massive odds, he is siding with the Stockton superstar on this one. Diaz opened as a +775 underdog against the heavy -1100 favorite Khamzat Chimaev. Should there be an upset, Paul will have a good haul of cash.

Paul Is Pulling For Diaz

‘The Problem Child’ would also have no problem roasting Khamzat Chimaev in his initial bet.

“Betr believe I’m putting my money on Nate Diaz to win versus fake Khabib (Nurmagomedov) (Khamzat Chimaev),” Paul wrote on Twitter.

Perhaps Paul is going for Diaz so he can fight him in the near future… Or maybe it’s just because there is some good value on the massive underdog odds at +775. It could be a bit of both at this point.

Jake Paul is no stranger to making bets when it comes to the fight game. From ‘loser gets tattooed’ against Tyron Woodley to attempting to double down on his fight checks against his other opponents, Paul really does it all (when it comes to wagers).

We’ll see if the influencer-turned-boxer wins any money this time around at UFC 279.
