Pat Barry joins a stacked fight card at Fury Pro Grappling 6
Pat Barry vs Jonathan Pellet joins seven other confirmed grappling matches at Fury Pro Grappling 6. In the main event, Rose Namajunas is taking on fellow UFC fighter Gillian Robertson.
Namajunas looks to end 2022 with some momentum after being ridiculed for her UFC title loss against Carla Esparza in May. Meanwhile, Robertson went 1-1 after losing to JJ Aldrich in March and winning against Mariya Agapova in September. Cage Fury officially announced the main event last week on Instagram with the caption:
“Former UFC Straweight champion @rosenamajunas is set to grapple returning UFC submission artist @savage_ufc in our must-see main event!”
Fury Pro Grappling 6 also features Clay Guida vs Chase Hooper, Joseph Pyfer vs Eryk Anders, Andre Petroski vs Ovince St. Preux, Pat Sabatini vs Alex Caceres, Trevin Giles vs Mike Malott, and Philip Rowe vs Nick Galanti.
The submission grappling event will take place at the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Cage Fury held two similar events in 2022. Submission grappling is offering promising opportunities for UFC fighters to stay active and make some extra money.
