Paddy Pimblett isn’t going to wait for a sparring session with Jake Paul to get a piece of him.

UFC lightweight rising star Paddy “The Baddy” Pimblett has a big fight ahead of him on Saturday night, but people can’t stop talking about a sparring offer he received from Jake Paul. Paul is calling for Pimblett to join him in a sparring match after the Liverpool native accused Paul of fight-fixing. Paul invited Pimblett to Puerto Rico to meet him and win one million dollars by besting him in a sparring match. Confused by the whole thing, Pimblett has set out a counteroffer.

Pimblett will be facing Jared Gordon on the main card of UFC 282. He invited Paul to the UFC Performance Institute after his fight to get this sparring done. However, Pimblett might not wait that long to get his hands on Paul.

Paddy Pimblett promises to slap Jake Paul if he sees him in the crowd at his fight

Pimblett recently sat down with Daniel Cormier to talk about a wide range of topics, one of which was the offer by Paul. Pimblett explained his side of the story and stressed his annoyance with the boxer.

“I’m in Vegas,” he said. “I’m fighting Saturday. I said I’ll chill Sunday and get some food in me. You’re more than welcome to come to PI on Monday, and I’ll beat you up.  He said, I’ve got meetings with the WBA something along them lines and so I’m not doing on on his terms. If he’s at the show Saturday, I will pass him, I’ll just go (slap). I can assault people, lad. I’ll assault him. I’ll just slap him across the face, pimp slap him.”

In response to this Cormier recalled a time when he had some social media beef going on with Paul. He said at the time Paul was so annoying to him that he could not even concentrate on his commentary duties at UFC 261. At that event, Cormier left the desk to get up in Paul’s face. He says now that the only reason he did not slap him that day is because he thought he might lose his job. Pimblett is ready to take that chance if he sees Paul on Saturday night.
