New video shows CM Punk striking and he looks to have Dada 5000 level punching skills

Lesson one in mixed martial arts striking is to never block punches with your face. MMA is an extremely difficult sport to learn, let alone do professionally and former pro wrestler CM Punk is finding that out while the entire world looks on. The “turn Punk into a pro MMA fighter” science experiment is a beautiful disaster we cannot take our eyes off.

Look at CM Punk grapple! Now watch CM Punk try to learn how to punch! The MMA world is a zoo and currently CM Punk learning everything on the fly is its main attraction.

With Punk’s UFC and MMA debut only two weeks away at UFC 203, more footage continues to surface of the former WWE world champion at practice. The videos are getting uglier and remind many of a young Dada 5000 hitting the pads. Punk’s opponent at UFC 203 is Mickey Gall and even though the 24 year old has only two pro and two amateur MMA fights under his belt, he still might be too experienced for Punk.
