Molly McCann is now slated for her next Octagon appearance, and it will take place in front of a New York City crowd at UFC 281.
Molly McCann Set For UFC 281 Return
Erin Blanchfield announced on her Instagram that she will be facing off against McCann at the pay-per-view (PPV) event on November 12.
This is quite the flyweight matchup, as McCann is currently the No. 15-ranked 125-pounder in the UFC. McCann is on a three-fight win streak at the moment inside of the Octagon.

Her last two victories have resulted in TKO victories, including one as recently as July in London. As for Blanchfield, she’s ranked just above McCann at flyweight at No. 14.
Blanchfield is on a six-fight win streak, including winning all three of her UFC appearances thus far. Her last outing was a second-round submission win over JJ Aldrich via guillotine choke.
UFC 281 is shaping up to be quite the card. It’s already headlined by a blockbuster middleweight title fight. Israel Adesanya will defend his 185-pound title against former kickboxing foe Alex Pereira.
As for McCann, she’s shaping up to be one of the UFC’s brighter young stars alongside Paddy Pimblett.
