Max Holloway Preforms New Trend With Son And John Mayer

Max Holloway shattered the internet with a crazy video, participating in a new social media trend. Following this, pop singer John Mayer responded to the challenge.

UFC Featherweight Champion, Max Holloway posted a video of one of the smoothest kicks you have ever seen. “Blessed” took to Instagram to partake in the “Bottle Cap Challenge.” He posted this epic video of him spinning back kicking the lid off of a bottle.

In this video, he memorized viewers everywhere, by perfectly tipping the lid, spinning the lid right off of the bottle. It is impossible to not want to watch this over and over. Subsequently, Holloway tagged musician John Mayer, to participate in the challenge as well. Mayer was quick to respond.

In Mayer’s video, he acknowledged the callout from Holloway. Additionally, he tagged Hollywood actor, Jason Statham.

It is fun to see Max Holloway getting some level of mainstream recognition. However, just like he is known to do, Holloway’s son stole the spotlight. Later, Max posted a video of “Mini Blessed” being a badass, and doing the same thing.

What can’t this kid do?

Max Holloway is looking to rebound from his UFC 236 loss to Dustin Poirier. The featherweight champion was looking to pick up a second belt, albeit interim, at lightweight. Now, Holloway is booked to defend his 145lb strap, against former champ Frankie Edgar. This bout is one that has been rescheduled quite a few times.

Perhaps, Max Holloway will be able to utilize this “Bottle Cap Challenge” precision against Edgar, at UFC 240.
