Khamzat Chimaev is calling out virtually every fighter he could possibly be matched up with.

It seems as though UFC title contender Khamzat Chimaev is itching to get back in the Octagon. It has been seven months since Chimaev last stepped foot in the cage and that appearance was a bit of a disaster. He was originally slated for the biggest opportunity of his young career when he was matched with Nate Daiz at UFC 279. The bout was to be the headliner but due to a failed weight cut, he was removed from the bout and instead fought Kevin Holland at a catchweight.

In the wake of that botched weight cut, Chimaev put his future career at welterweight in jeopardy. Dana White has expressed that he will only fight at middleweight going forward. Chimaev is still vocal about wanting to compete in both divisions and is now sending out some callouts to the top men at both 170 and 185 pounds.

Khamzat Chimaev sends out a series of Tweets calling out several top contenders

Chimaev is adamant about getting a title shot. He has been targeting middleweight champion Alex Pereira of late and once again sent him a call out on Twitter. Pereira is fighting Israel Adesanya this weekend and perhaps with a win could be facing Chimaev next. However, there are other options to be made, so just in case, he began to send Tweets out to many other possible foes.

He sent teasing Tweets to Pereira, Jorge Masvidal, Gilbert Burns, Colby Covington, and Paulo Costa. All of which he has mentioned before and all except for Costa have fights booked right now. A fight against Costa would be the most logical of choices. They have both mentioned each other in the past and now that Costa has signed a new contract with the UFC he could be looking for a possible title contention fight, which a bout with Chimaev would certainly be.
