Ken Shamrock and Chuck Liddell Come Face To Face
Somebody call Oscar De La Hoya, and let him know that he might have the next main event for Golden Boy MMA. UFC Hall of Famers Chuck Liddell and Ken Shamrock were seen facing off against each other, at the 2019 Mr. Olympia.
Chuck Liddell and Ken Shamrock are two of mixed martial art’s biggest legends. They have contributed a ton to the sport, and to this day remain icons. Subsequently, it is to the surprise of some, that the two never fought each other, despite being around the same age and weight class.
However, that could change as the two were seen together at the 2019 Mr. Olympia Expo. The pair were there to promote the LIMITLESS line of fitness products. Nevertheless, they took the opportunity to pose together, in a face off that takes you back about 20 years. MMAJunkie was there to catch video of the faceoff.
Here’s the video of the two of them facing off:
With Shamrock being 55 and Liddell being 49, it seems rather unlikely that we will be seeing these two fight any time soon. Although Liddell did attempt a comeback at Golden Boy MMA’s one event to date. However, he would go on to lose to Tito Ortiz by brutal knockout.
No matter what, it is fun to see these two legends come face to face. Although it does make you wonder how a fight between Ken Shamrock and Chuck Liddell would have gone. These two UFC Hall of Famers are beloved among UFC fans around the world.
