Consider Joe Rogan a fan of the rumored fight between Jake Paul and Anderson Silva

Nothing is official just yet, but Paul will reportedly face the former UFC Middleweight Champion on Oct. 29. In addition, Silva just secured his boxing license in Arizona, so we may be seeing that boxing match sooner than later.

Rogan ‘Loves’ The Matchup

The contest might not be happening inside the Octagon but UFC commentator Rogan is stoked for it nonetheless.

“I love it,” Rogan said of the potential matchup, on his podcast. “If Jake Paul really decides to fight Anderson, that’s a very tough fight. I think they’re talking about it.”

Rogan Praises ‘Bad M’fer’ Paul

In the past, ‘The Problem Child’ has received a lot of hate for his promotional antics and his opponents’ skill level. But, Joe Rogan doesn’t have a problem with it. The popular comedian and podcaster would give Paul his props in marketing AND fighting.

“Jake Paul is one of the smartest marketers that fucking sport has ever seen,” Rogan continued. “And he can fight. He’s got balls. The thing is, people think he’s this YouTube guy and he can’t fight. [Did you see] the way he knocked out Tyron Woodley? Come the f*ck on.

“If that guy was just a boxer and you’d never known anything about his YouTube background and you saw him knock out Tyron Woodley with one shot, you’d be like ‘holy sh*t, there’s this new guy coming up and he’s a bad motherf*cker. He’s really legit.'”

If the contracts get signed and sealed, we’ll see just how ‘legit’ Jake Paul is against the legendary Anderson Silva.
