Jake Paul is hoping to fight Nate Diaz in MMA after they box.

Paul and Diaz are set to box on August 5 in Dallas, Texas in an intriguing matchup as it’s Paul’s first fight since his first career loss while it serves as Diaz’s first match since his UFC exit.

Although Paul and Diaz are focused on the boxing match, the brash YouTuber is also interested in fighting the Stockton, native in MMA in the PFL. He also revealed he has offered Diaz $10 million for an MMA fight in the PFL after their boxing match.

“For all the clowns saying “why don’t you fight Nate Diaz in the cage.” I made that offer to him from the start. $10M to fight me in PFL after we box on August 5th. Offer is still there Nathan. #PaulDiaz,” Paul tweeted.

Nate Diaz responds to Jake Paul

After Jake Paul’s tweet, InsideFighitng caught up with Nate Diaz on the street and asked the former UFC star about the $10 million offer. Although MMA is where Diaz is better, he says it will take more than $10 million for the rematch to happen, especially after what he does on August 5.

“We’ll see what happens, let’s get this fight out that way. It’s going to cost more than that,” Diaz said.

Nate Diaz does seem just focused on the boxing match against Jake Paul. He has also been vocal that after he beats Paul he will go back to the UFC to reclaim his UFC titles, despite never winning any. Diaz also expressed interest in having the trilogy match against Conor McGregor.

However, before any of this can happen, Diaz and Paul will need to box on August 5 on pay-per-view. Diaz enters the fight as a sizeable betting underdog but remains confident he will beat Jake Paul and end the YouTuber’s hype as a professional boxer.
