Jake Paul has claimed that Nate Diaz turned down a big money offer to fight him in an MMA bout.

Back in August, Paul and Diaz had a 10-round boxing match. Paul won the bout via unanimous decision. “The Problem Child” has been adamant about having an MMA fight against Diaz under the PFL banner. Diaz, who has shown loyalty to the UFC, said if the fight were to happen, there would need to be a co-promotion with his Real Fight Inc. brand.

Jake Paul Says Nate Diaz Turned Down Fight Offer, Diaz Fires Back

During an interview with TMZ Sports, Jake Paul was asked about a showdown with Nate Diaz inside the PFL SmartCage. “The Problem Child” had some bleak news for those who were looking forward to an MMA scrap between the two.

“We’re at the drawing board right now,” Paul said. “Nate Diaz ducked the $10 million offer. So, he’s not the badass that everyone said he was ’cause I wanted to fight him in MMA and do something that no boxer has really ever done, which is in the prime of their career go over to MMA. MMA fighters have gone into boxing, but I want to go into MMA and Nate Diaz ducked the offer.”

Never one to shy away from an exchange, Diaz took to his Twitter account to respond to Paul’s claims that he ducked an MMA fight.

“Here’s your Mma fight b*tch your easy af we can box or fight mma at ⁦@RealFightINC no problem f*ck PFL and f*ck u p*ssy,” Diaz wrote.

Diaz has made it clear that his ultimate goal is to return to the UFC and win a title. He also believes that a trilogy fight against Conor McGregor is inevitable. Time will tell what’s next for the Stockton native.

UPDATE:

Jake Paul, though yet to enter the cage, inked a deal with the PFL earlier this year. However, that didn’t deter him from taking a shot at Nate Diaz today. On the X, he criticized his recent opponent for declining a ten-million-dollar offer, suggesting it was due to fear of defeat. Furthermore, the YouTuber predicted that the former title challenger might return to Dana White and the UFC.

In his response, Nate Diaz left no room for doubt that he couldn’t care less about Jake Paul’s remarks. On X, he bluntly asserted that the YouTuber wouldn’t have a clue about what it takes to handle a “real fight.”
