Unfortunately, Japenese MMA legend Tatsuya Kawajiri’s debut at Rizin’s bantamweight (138 lbs) tournament didn’t go so well for him today. Rather it left him with a bruised noggin and brutal loss.
At Rizin bantamweight tournament Gabriel Oliveira (10-0) finishes Tatsuya Kawajiri (36-12-2) with the perfectly timed knee in the second round via TKO.

Kawajiri, a 39-year-old Japanese fighter who competed for most of his career at lightweight division before a move down to featherweight in 2011. After today’s loss, he’s now in a 1-4 skid, while Oliveira improves his record to 10-0 with a win over Tatsuya.
