Patricky Freire Stops Tatsuya Kawajiri In The First Round!

Bellator knockout artist Patricky Freire met the former UFC fighter Tatsuya Kawajiri in the Lightweight Grand Prix quarter-final bout at RIZIN 19 today (Saturday, October 12, 2019). The fight took place in Osaka, Japan. The referee was Minoru Toyonaga.

Freire caught Tatsuya Kawajiri with a flying knee early on, and then annihilated him with a brutal barrage of punches on the ground. The Japanese fighter struggled to get up, but Freire was raining shots over and over and the referee had no choice but to stop the contest.
