Dominick Cruz has had one fight in the last four years, so he’s had time to refine his skills outside of the cage. Skills like his smack talk. Although, Cruz, the former champion and who many thought was the lightweight GOAT for years, is just speaking the truth. He is completely confident in his skills, and believes he’ll destroy Dillashaw, thus rendering all TJ love moot. Out four years, lose to me, then what? Yep, pretty much, Cruz. If it happens.
But will it? It’s a fight that has our attention. And it’s probably the biggest title fight that’s upcoming beyond Aldo/McGregor, but it’s come to the point where it’s hard to believe a fight is happening until they’re in the cage.
