It didn’t take long before Rozenstruik expressed his disappointment over the result of the fight and shared his honest take on the matter.
A confusing call?
On Twitter, Rozenstruik explained why he reckoned that referee in charge Herb Dean’s decision “confused” him. As per the 34-year-old, he was indeed in trouble when he took a hard right hand from Volkov but in reality, he was “far from giving up.”
“(1/2) Hi everyone. I’m kinda confused on how the fight went and I’m disappointed that it was stopped,” Rozenstruik wrote. ” It definitly was a troubling situation, but I was far from giving up the fight. Did someone lay flat on the ground with his eyes shut? That’s what we call a knockout. #UFCVegas56.”
