Dan Hardy Talks Potential UFC Return
Dan Hardy has been talking about making a return to the UFC. Now it appears that he has an opponent in mind for that potential return.
Dan Hardy is one of the few UFC fighters to get more popular after he stopped fighting. His increased roles in commentary, and fight breakdowns has made him one of the biggest fan-favorites in all of MMA. This comes despite him not having fought since 2012, due to health conditions.
However, it appears that Hardy is ready to return. He made the announcement that he was looking to come out retirement soon. Yet now it appears that he has an idea of who he may want to make that return against. Speaking with ESPN, he explained that he has some thoughts nf who would be the ideal opponent for his return to action.
“That is a good question. I daydream about that most days,” Hardy responded when asked who he would like to fight. “Honestly, right now, the guy everyone wants to fight is Nate Diaz. That’s the ideal pick.”
Hardy is right, in that everybody wants a crack at Nate Diaz, and his BMF title. So, if they did fight, how would Hardy get the win? Well he was quick to put on his analyst hat and explain.
“Oh, I’d eat his lead leg up until he starts falling onto my punches and then I knock him out. Simple.”
Dan Hardy is one of the sport’s biggest treasures. It would be exciting to see him return to the UFC against anyone, especially Nate Diaz.
