Colby Covington doesn’t think anyone stands a chance!

Colby Covington (15-1 MMA, 10-1 UFC) was asked about the potential welterweight fight with Kamaru Usman (15-1) on November 2 in Madison Square Garden, in an interview with MMA Junkie.

“I’m ready to go, I already gave the verbal yes to the UFC that I want to go to the Madison Square Garden and make it great again,” said Covington. The Knicks have tarnished the legacy of Madison Square Garden, it’s disgusting what they’ve done to that arena, it’s been nothing but L’s (Losses).”

Covington, 31, was asked who has the better accolades between himself and Usman, ‘Chaos’ did not hesitate to hype himself up.

“No doubt about it, me, he’s a D2 level fighter, he’s a D2 level college wrestler I’m D1 in everything. I’m the top of the food chain he’s never going to see the top of the food chain.”

“He’s been ducking me in the early part of his career and now he’s doing the same thing again.” “I’ve beat a lot better fighters. Everything he’s done, I’ve already done it and I did it before him. He’s second place to the best fighter in the world Colby Covington”.

When asked what he’ll do when he’s the undisputed champ, Covington explained:

“I want to be champ-champ-champ, I want to be first-ever, I’m already breaking all the history books last fight most significant strikes ever thrown, first family front row, call from the president.”

“I’m looking to fighter Whittaker, he’s a bum, he’s got no wrestling, no heart, no cardio. And then Khabib, come on man, the sheep lover, he’s got nothing for me man the guy’s over in Russia playing with sheep. What’s he going to do to raw American steel and twisted sex appeal.”

Covington was asked how the fight with Usman will go down and he’s very confident in a first-round knockout…

“First round knockout, he’s getting put to sleep I promise you that. He’s leaving that octagon in a stretcher. I couldn’t train my last fight for Robbie Lawler because I had a cut on my eye. Wait until you see me with a full training camp. Anyone that wants to doubt me they’re going to find out November 2. I will knock him out first round.”

Colby Covington defeated Rafael Dos Anjos in June of last year for the interim welterweight belt. However, he was stripped of his title after not being able to make a fight against the champ Tyron Woodley.

But he returned and recently defeated Robbie Lawler earlier this month while Kamaru Usman is coming off of a March victory over Tyron Woodley.
