Drake’s Big Bet
The famous rapper would back Masvidal to beat Colby Covington in the main event. So much so, that Drake would ‘hotline bling’ the money line on the underdog. Drake bet more than $275K on Masvidal to win. Well, that wouldn’t pay off in the end.
Covington would dominate Masvidal to the distance, taking home a unanimous decision win.
Drake might be a multi-millionaire, but yikes, that’s a tough loss for the rapper.

Colby Reacts
After a clear win for Colby Covington, it wouldn’t take long for him to take notice of the big wager. ‘Chaos’ would address Drake’s infamous bet following his fight.
“Let’s talk about all the money Drake lost tonight,” Covington said at the UFC 272 post-fight presser. “He needs to go back to selling those shitty albums to get back the money. He should’ve went to America’s pick of the week… I tried to give the people the pick of the week.
“Drake, you suck at sports betting. Go back to your sh*tty little albums and rapping.”
Dang, Colby, take it easy on the dude. He just lost a quarter of a million dollars…
