- PFL debutant Cedric Doumbe got the crowd into frenzy with his walkout and nine-second KO win at PFL Europe 3
- Soccer star Kylian Mbappe was among those who were blown away by Doumbe’s performance
Up-and-coming welterweight sensation Cedric Doumbe made sure that his PFL debut would be one of the ages. Apart from his unique walkout, Doumbe also got the live audience, including soccer star Kylian Mbappe electrified with his stunning nine-second KO win over Jordan Zebo.
Quite the debut
Doumbe entered Zenith Paris with one thing in mind – make his PFL debut a memorable one. Indeed, that’s what “The Best” did from the moment he walked into the cage to the actual fight.
Doumbe already got PFL Europe 3 fans in attendance hyped when he came out with a mattress and a pillow. However, it was his chilling nine-second knockout on Zebo that literally dropped Mbappe’s jaw.
After holding on to Zebo’s leg in the early exchange, Doumbe was able to slip a devastating left hook to his opponent’s chin. The punch swiftly floored Zebo and Doumbe hammer punched his way to victory.

Still unbeaten
The sensational victory saw Doumbe improving his undefeated pro MMA record to 5-0. All of his wins came by way of KO/TKO and none of his past opponents have gotten past the second round with him.
Doumbe made his MMA debut in 2021 at SuperKombat where he TKO’d his opponent Arbi Emiev in the very first round. Prior to joining the PFL this past May, the 31-year-old was linked to a move to the UFC. He was also a former Glory Kickboxing champion. As a kickboxer, Doumbe has logged a remarkable tally of 75-5-1 record.
