Could we see rising African sensation Cedric Doumbe share the PFL Smart Cage with former Bellator standout Michael ‘Venom’ Page?
On Friday, the Professional Fighters League presented the 2023 PFL Europe Championships inside Dublin’s 3Arena. Sitting cageside and taking in the action were some of Europe’s biggest MMA stars, including Doumbe and Michael Page. During the event, Doumbe was brought into the cage to address the live crowd.
Seeing an opportunity to shoot his shot, the Cameroonian called out ‘MVP.’
“MVP! Whenever you want, I’m here for you!” Doumbe said.
Page quickly came out of the crowd and entered the cage where he faced off with Doumbe before the two fighters shook hands.
“We’ll see what happens in the future,” Page said following the encounter.

Doumbe, a former GLORY Kickboxing welterweight champion, is currently undefeated in mixed martial arts, dispatching his first five opponents by way of knockout. He spectacularly made his PFL debut this past September, knocking out Jordan Zebo in nine seconds at PFL Europe 3.
‘MVP’ is also a former kickboxer world champion. Page has spent the last 10 years of his career competing under the Bellator MMA banner. However, earlier this year, he exited the promotion, becoming one of the sport’s hottest free agents.
No official announcement has been made in regards to where he will fight next, but there has been rampant speculation that he has or will sign with the UFC soon.
