Despite taking combat sports by storm, Jake and Logan Paul have yet to compete professionally in MMA. The primary reason is that mainstream MMA promotions seem to be a bit skeptical about the impact the pair would make.

Take the UFC for example. UFC boss Dana White has already shut down the idea of signing Jake Paul as he reckoned that his promotion is not the platform for guys like “The Problem Child.” However, there seems to be some light at the end of the tunnel as Bellator has now opened its door for the Paul brothers.

“There’s ongoing dialogue”

Speaking to TMZ Sports, Bellator head honcho Scott Coker divulged that he has had some conversations with Jake and Loga Paul. The talks are still “ongoing” but he doubled down on his interest to sign the internet stars.

“We’ve had convos with (Logan Paul) and Jake (Paul) about, ‘What does MMA mean to you guys,’ and ‘What do you guys wanna do?’” Coker revealed. “There’s ongoing dialogue, but if they wanna really get down and get serious, we’ll bring them in. Sure, why not.”

“if you really wanna do mixed martial arts, you wanna fight some of our top guys, please give me a call, have your managers call us, and let’s get it on.”

Coker endorses a good MMA gym for the Paul brothers

As things stand, Jake has been unbeaten in pro boxing but his biggest accomplishment thus far was his back-to-back wins over former UFC champion Tyron Woodley. Logan, meanwhile, is 0-1 as a pro boxer but has shared the ring with legendary boxer Floyd “Money” Mayweather Jr. in an exhibition match.

As per Coker, he never doubted the potential of both Jake and Logan. However, if they ever made up their mind, they should undergo serious MMA training and the facility that could help them with that is Javier Mendez’s AKA gym.

“When they started boxing two years ago, I told people don’t underestimate these guys, because they’re gonna get better and better and better,” Coker said of Jake and Logan. “It’s just a matter of them training and practicing.

“If they get into a gym like [AKA] with Javier Mendez, talk to me in a year, man. I’m impressed with how much they’ve grown over the last two years, and if they have their mind made up, I think they can come get into it.”

Jake has previously pleaded to fight under the UFC banner and has been having some back and forth with a number of UFC stars. His latest Twitter rival is former UFC middleweight champion Michael Bisping.

Logan, on the other hand, had just made a successful WWE debut at Wrestlemania 38.
