Andrei Arlovski Scores A Decision Win Over Ben Rothwell After 15 Minutes Of War!
UFC is returning to business tonight (Sat, July 20, 2019) with UFC on ESPN 4 event from inside the AT&T Center in San Antonio, Texas. The Heavyweight match between two veterans, the former 265-pound champion Andrei “The Pit Bull” Arlovski and ex-USMMA kingpin Ben Rothwell, kicks off the main card.
The two already fought at Affliction: Banned on July 19, 2008, where Arlovski turned the lights out on Rothwell in the third round. Will Ben avenge this loss?

Round 1
Fighters touched gloves. Arlovski landed a nasty middle kick, great exchange on both sides. Good low kick Arlovski, more punches. Spinning backfist Andrei. Uppercut Arlovski followed by a great combo. Rothwell delivered big overhand right.
Nasty blows on both sides. Big jab by Arlovski, fighters clinch up and separate. Spinning backfist Arlovski again. Rothwell is bleeding. Few more punches, round ends, 10-9 Arlovski.
Round 2
Great punch by Arlovski, awesome punch trade on both sides. So many clinch strikes. A body shot followed by a punch to the head Arlovski. Big right hand, Rothwell clinches up, fighters on the fence.
Knee off the clinch Arlovski, fighters separate. Great jab and kick Arlovski. Fighters on the fence again. Spinning backfist lands. Good low kick. Awesome exchange on both sides, Arlovski attacks the opponent’s legs. 10-9 Arlovski.
Round 3
Arlovski stops Rothwell with a jab. Three-punch combo Arlovski. Rothwell’s face is covered in blood. We’ve seen an uppercut miss from Rothwell. Fighters in the clinch.
Rothwell takes him down, but Arlovski gets up almost instantly. Fighters are against the fence again. Rothwell goes for a takedown, stuffed. Fighters trade punches. Big right hand Arlovski. Rothwell attacks, both fighters are tired. Rothwell keeps going forward, presses Arlovski against the fence. This was a close round, unsure.
Final Result: 30-27 x 3, Andrei Arlovski defeats Ben Rothwell via unanimous decision
