Titanfall has been out for a while now on PC and Xbox One, but only a few short weeks for those playing on the Xbox 360. Basically, the hype has died down a little bit and people who are playing it are playing it and seemingly enjoying it, which is cool. It’s nice to just see something new in the world of shooters, even if that “new” isn’t really that innovative, just is a little bit different.
One thing you have to applaud Respawn and EA for is that Titanfall’s launch pretty much went as smoothly as possible, considering that Battlefield 4 and SimCity’s launches (among other games) caused gamers to want to rip their hair out. It seems like they’ve got just about everything figured out with the game, ensuring that it runs smoothly. So of course along comes the internet just trying to break the damned thing for the sake of breaking it.
This YouTube video of Titanfall Mythbusters confirms or denies a few common myths about Titanfall and shows how you can completely muck up a server by blowing up the dropship once it has escaped. Damn.
