We knew we were in for a wild ride whenever Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson was first announced.

It’s not your ordinary boxing match as the YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul continues to make waves, this time on Netflix, going up against 1990s heavyweight champion Tyson. Youth is on Paul’s side at 27 whereas Tyson relies on decades of muscle memory and raw power heading into his 58th birthday.

Well, That Was Unexpected

Whether you love it or hate it, everybody’s talking about Paul vs. Tyson, including a young kid who went viral for asking the headliners a simple, yet bizarre question: who has the higher body count?

“Who would train me better? Jake or you, Mike?” a child asked at Monday’s press conference in Harlem. Tyson answered with “definitely me” while Paul said himself, citing “older fighters have more heart and balls and weren’t afraid, but I think the newer fighters have more skill and technique and are sharper. So, that’s why I’d be a better coach.”

“So, you think he has bigger balls?” the kid followed up on his original question. “Who do you think’s got a higher body count? What’s your body count, Jake? What’s your body count?”

Paul and Tyson were left speechless for a few seconds with Tyson asking: “Where’s this kid’s mother?”

Tyson Drops A Cold Line

On to a more serious note, Paul is looking to make more than just a highlight off Tyson. “The Problem Child” wants to be the one to “end” the legendary Tyson. Going back into “savage mode” for his comeback fight, Tyson’s mindset is a bit different from his opponent’s.

“No, I really like Jake a lot,” Tyson said, when asked if he was going to put an end to Paul. “But, once he’s in that ring, you have to fight like his life is dependent on it because it will be.”

“I’m Sore… Really Sore.”

Not everybody is on board with the idea of an aging Tyson coming out of retirement for a fight against Paul, who is improving with every fight at 9-1. Tyson has never been one to adhere to his naysayers, but he can see what they’re saying as he works through his current training camp.

“Well, I’m beautiful, that’s all I can say,” Tyson said in response to the critics. “I’m doing great, but my body is sh*t right now, I’m sore. I’m really sore.”
