The tension is building between Mike Tyson and Jake Paul.

Two months ahead of their highly anticipated class at the 80,000-seat AT&T Stadium on Saturday, July 20, Tyson and Paul have been making the rounds via a press tour that has taken them from NYC to The Lone Star State.

After a fairly tame encounter at The Apollo Theater in Harlem, things got a bit chippy between ‘The Problem Child’ and the former unified heavyweight world champion during their stop in Arlington, Texas on Thursday. Instead of tickle fighting, Tyson laid into the YouTuber-turned-boxer, noting how thick Paul was looking two months away from fight night.

“I don’t know if he’s in his prime. He’s fat,” Tyson said. “He should be lean and mean. He’s fat and funky. I saw him with his shirt off the other day, he’s fat. Did you start training already?”

Paul was quick to snap back at Tyson, taking a dig at the former champ’s greatest loss and perhaps the biggest upset in sports history.

“Buster Douglas was fat, am I right?” Paul shouted back. “I’m going to end you quicker than he did.”

Mike Tyson Mocks Jake Paul’s Resume and Supposed Knockout Power

Jake Paul enters his 11th career fight coming off back-to-back first-round knockouts over a couple of no-name opponents, Andre August and Ryan Bourland. Before that, ‘The Problem Child’ made a name for himself by earning wins over a slew of past-their-prime MMA stars — a resume Tyson couldn’t help, but mock.

Especially when it comes to talk of Paul’s supposed punching power.

“He couldn’t even knock out [Nate] Diaz,” Tyson said. “[Nate] Diaz is 40 pounds. He’s going to knock me out? Anderson Silva, he couldn’t even knock out the little guys? How’s he going to knock me out?

“Who did he knock out? Little children. He never knocked out a real man, come on. He didn’t knock out Tommy Fury. I’m going to f*ck Jake up. How am I going to lose if he couldn’t beat Tommy Fury?”

Facing off for one final time on their press tour, Paul did his best to intimidate Tyson, but as you can see in the clip below, ‘Kid Dynamite’ was not having any of the influencer’s cringey tactics.
