Jake Paul Flatlines Andre August in Opening Round with Vicious Uppercut – Paul vs. August Results (Highlights)

Jake Paul secures a first-round knockout against Andre August with a massive uppercut in a faceoff against a pro boxer, marking his second consecutive win post his loss to Tommy Fury.

Jake Paul took his first step toward achieving his dream of becoming a world champion in the sport of boxing with a stunning first-round knockout of Andre August at Most Valuable Prospects IV on Friday night.

Round 1

Paul comes out looking to lead with the left jab. Paul swings with a left and August ducks under, forcing a tie-up. Paul throws a right hand to the body of August and August fires back. Paul comes back with a short hook to the body. He attempts to land another hook, but August ducks under once again. Paul throws a left, but August comes back with a big left hand that catches Paul up top. A double jab from Paul pushes August back. 

August continues trying to duck under and attack the body. Seeing it coming, Paul lands a monstrous uppercut with the right hand that flattens August with less than a minute to go in the opening round. August was able to get back to his feet, but he was clearly in la la land, forcing the referee to call for the stoppage.

Official Result: Jake Paul def. Andre August via KO (uppercut) at 2:32 of Round 1.
