Jake Paul believes Conor McGregor has lost his damn mind.
At one time, ‘The Problem Child’ saw a clash with McGregor as the biggest thing he could accomplish in combat sports. But with fights booked against the BKFC’s ‘King of Violence’ and legendary pugilist ‘Iron’ Mike Tyson, Paul isn’t too interested in talking about the Irishman these days—unless someone else brings him up, of course.
During a recent appearance on The MMA Hour alongside his July 20 opponent ‘Platinum’ Mike Perry, Paul laid into McGregor, disputing the idea that he’s still the biggest draw in the fight game.
“I would disagree [he’s still the biggest draw],” Paul said. “There’s new sheriffs in town. He hasn’t won a fight in what six or seven years? I don’t even know how long it’s been. He’s embarrassing himself. He’s ruining his legacy with all the drugs and the way he looks online. He’s lost his mind, he’s a maniac.
“At one point, Conor was great. Everyone loved Conor but I feel bad for the guy now. You could say all these things about him but he hasn’t proven it, he hasn’t backed anything up and that’s the way I look at it is from the facts and the numbers.”

Jake Paul Thinks Conor McGregor Needs to Go to Rehab
McGregor was scheduled to step inside the Octagon on June 29 for a long-awaited showdown with former Bellator MMA champion Michael Chandler. Unfortunately, that is no longer the case after ‘Mystic Mac’ was forced to bow out of the bout due to an undisclosed injury.
With McGregor now serving as a part owner of Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship, the promotion Mike Perry currently calls home, Paul was asked about potentially hosting the Irishman at Amalie Arena in Tampa next month.
“He needs to attend rehab,” Paul countered when asked about McGregor attending his fight. “Look, we can get him a fourth or fifth-row ticket. But he’s kind of lost his celebrity and star power. I don’t think people really care about him but I’m sure I could comp him a fourth or fifth row.”
