Logan Paul feels like he has restored balance to the universe by defeating Dillon Danis.

On Saturday, October 14, Paul scored his first career win in the boxing ring after going toe-to-toe with bitter rival Dillon Danis as part of Misfits Boxing’s latest pay-per-view offering in Manchester. Through six rounds of action, Paul dominated the bout, landing over 100 strikes compared to Danis’ meager 16 strikes. Still in the UK celebrating his victory, Paul felt like balance had been restored to the universe after waking up a winner the following morning.

“When I woke up this morning and the sun was shining and I was in this beautiful country, I felt peace,” Paul said during the latest episode of the IMPAULSIVE podcast. “It was such an odd feeling. I felt at ease. I felt calm and I realized what it was. This morning, the balance of the universe had been restored. At least temporarily. I’m sure it’ll get lopsided and things will get bent out of shape very soon, but at least for now, I have to say winning feels kind of nice.”

He continued,” [Danis] did a great job of promoting this fight, but not through a super morally sound way. It just didn’t need to go there and now he’s back to being the person that we all knew he was. He was able to be a hero for a second and there was a lot on the line. And I’ll be honest, I’m not gonna sit here and say I did something glorious by defeating Dillon Danis. It was a boxing match. I looked kinda sloppy at times. I didn’t feel like my performance was where it could be. I was a little concerned with my boxing, but I did what I said I was going to do and I beat his a** for six rounds.”

With their boxing match in the books, Danis has already been vocal about the pair running it back in the world of mixed martial arts. Asked if he would consider a rematch with the BJJ specialist inside a cage, Paul initially said he would do it in exchange for Danis’ entire fight purse, but in the end, the social media star has no interest in giving Danis another platform to run his mouth and make money.

“I said I would if he gave me his whole purse, which isn’t going to happen obviously,” Paul said. “He doesn’t deserve the platform. We saw what kind of person he is. I walked in through the arena to boos and I left to cheers. Nobody likes that dirty fight sh*t. You came to box. Respect the sport. Respect me as an opponent. Back up your words. Are you a man? You can’t talk that much sh*t for three months. You can’t try to ruin someone’s life and then come in there with that kind of performance.”

Logan Paul Offers a Heartfelt Apology to Nina Agdal

In the months leading up to the fight with Dillon Danis, Paul’s fiancee, Nina Agdal, found herself at the forefront of the rivalry after Danis decided to routinely target her on social media. Danis relentlessly trolled the Danish swimsuit model online, poking fun at past relationships and posting NSFW images of her on a daily basis. The never-ending onslaught prompted Agdal to file a lawsuit against Danis claiming that one of his posts in particular violated state and federal ‘revenge porn’ laws.

Looking back on the last few months, Logan Paul offered Agdal a heartfelt apology for the harassment that she endured from Danis and admitted having regret over choosing Danis as his opponent.

“I lied in the build-up when I said that I didn’t regret choosing him (Danis) as a fighting partner,” Paul said. “I’m eternally sorry for Nina. I’ll spend the rest of my life apologizing if I have to for putting her through that kind of torment. It’s just inhumane what he did. She’ll hold him accountable but this is my life and I dragged her into this social media fight bullshit and she did not sign up for this. I mean she did but she didn’t know, and neither did I. I don’t think anyone knew the extent to which he would take things.”

Paul added: “No fight organization or promotion has ever seen this type of build-up. This is gnarly. And also no fighter has a partner who can be exploited in the way Nina can. She’s a public figure and with that comes the limelight and out of responsibility that a lot of fighters aren’t able to do with their opponent because their wives don’t have independently self-made careers. She has that, so he was able to exploit it in a way that worked for the build-up but also hurts personally.”
