KSI and Dillon Danis were in attendance at the recent Misfits Boxing 3. As expected, the two had an intense face-off and back-and-forth inside the ring after KSI announced they will take on each other in a boxing match on Jan. 14, 2023, at the MF & DAZN X Series 004 pay-per-view event at OVO Arena Wembley in London.

They can’t wait
Shortly after KSI broke the news in his in-ring promo in the said event, Danis was brought in as well for a little face-to-face. The pair did not fail to deliver as they immediately began jawing at each other.
It can be recalled that KSI and Danis had just got into an ugly scuffle which also involved Anthony Taylor outside the Misfits boxing event weigh-ins. With a date now set, the two troublesome fighters can finally settle their beef inside the ring.

Linked to big names
One thing KSI and Danis have in common apart from often trading jabs with their fellow fighters is that they have been linked to big-name UFC legends prior to their fight.
Before KSI, “El Jefe” already had a physical altercation with UFC legend Nate Diaz in New York following UFC 281. Bellator CEO Scott Coker suggested that Danis should fight Diaz “for the money” instead of taking on each other for free.
KSI, meanwhile, also had a heated encounter with ex-UFC champion Tyron Woodley at the recent Global Titans boxing event.
In 2018, Danis transitioned to MMA after excelling at jiu-jitsu. Danis has a 2-0 pro MMA record and is still tied up with Bellator. He hasn’t fought since 2019, instead, he has appeared in the media for other reasons, including a September 2021 arrest for disorderly conduct. Danis is now making his boxing debut against KSI next year.
KSI, on the other hand, has famously defeated Logan Paul via split decision in his boxing debut in 2019. He previously TKO’d two opponents, Swarmz and Luis Alcaraz, in one night in a boxing event.
It is certain that KSI vs. Danis is going to be an entertaining and brutal fight, so let’s see how it turns out.
